AEROGELS

Silica Aerogel

Silica aerogel is primarily composed of silica (silicon dioxide), which is the same material found in quartz and sand. The aerogel structure is a gel that has undergone a special drying process to replace the liquid component with gas, resulting in a highly porous and lightweight material.

carbon aerogel

Carbon aerogel is a lightweight, highly porous and large surface area carbon material produced by pyrolysis of organic aerogels at high temperatures.

granulate aerogel

Granular aerogel is a type of airgel produced in small, spherical balls. It is usually made from silica, but can also be produced from other materials.

aerogel blanket

Airgel blanket is a thin, flexible and lightweight thermal insulation material. It is produced from aerogels made of silica and consists of gel grains suspended in the air. These grains form a three-dimensional network containing numerous pores. Thanks to these pores, airgel blankets trap heat very well and provide excellent insulation.
